HOYA® Eyeglass Lenses

HOYA® Eyeglass Lenses

Our clinics feature the Hoya lens portfolio, among other brands. The iD MyStyle 2 progressive lens offers dynamic day-to-night vision that can be tailored to your particular lifestyle, allowing for more comfortable viewing of digital devices and print materials. Using digital measurements along with a lifestyle questionnaire, the iD MyStyle 2 lens is custom-made for each patient's individual visual needs. Hoya also offers multifocal office lenses which provide patients with the opportunity for visual acuity at both intermediate and near focal distances without the compromised peripheral vision common to standard progressive lenses as well as allowing for comfortable head and body posture while at a computer.

Blue Light Blocking Anti-glare Coatings

In the age of technology, our clinics recommend blue light blocking anti-glare coatings. Blue light is everywhere: it is emitted from the sun, digital screens, electronic devices, and fluorescent and LED lighting. Studies show that exposure to blue light can disrupt the brain’s production of melatonin, which can cause a dysfunction of your natural circadian rhythm. Reducing the eye’s exposure to this harmful blue light can also prevent retinal cell damage that can lead to macular degeneration.

Prescription Sunglasses

Our offices have access to hundreds of styles of sunglass frames, and can customize prescription lenses for a wide variety of uses.
